Steve Twist, Avalon Portrait Gallery

I'm Steve Twist, Owner of Avalon Portrait Gallery.

And I am just like you. I love my family, I love life, and the little things matter a lot.  I am serious about my work because I know how important it is to you.  It's that important to me as well.  To celebrate relationships -- in ways that glorify and strengthen the ties that bind us together -- is my calling.  I bring technical skills and aesthetic sensibilities together when producing work that will make you laugh, and cry, and cherish all that is dear to you.  I am are lucky to have found this calling in my life, and I am thankful every day for it.   So...what can I do for you? ~Steve Twist

Life is all about people, moments & emotions that we want to hold on to.

That's me on the bike.

When I am not taking photographs or spending time with my wife and kids, I am on the bike. Between training and racing I usually put in 100 to 250 miles per week. My buddies and I get a lot of fresh air, and we get to eat anything we want!

Inside the studio

We have a comfortable place to meet and talk. We can also show you your photos on a wide screen TV so you can really see before you order prints.

Outside the studio

We have 1.5 acres where you can do outdoor photos. This is the back yard, with grass and redwoods and some color mixed in. The front yard is a pine forest with mature trees and smaller redwoods.

There are many different background choices here, so we can stay creative. We use really big lights because they make soft, flattering light.
